RN (Registered Nurse)

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts
• Maintain 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratios
• Care for medical surgical patients including post-operative recovery patients and oncology med/surg overflow
• Float as needed within scope of practice
• Must pass open book skills exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score required
• One year of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Charge nurse experience requires at least 1 year of experience
• Use EPIC charting system
• Work with respiratory equipment including nasal cannula
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Cannot be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities
• Driver's license required for distance verification
• Artificial nails prohibited in patient care departments
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
• BLS certification required
• BSN degree not required
