<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>OT - OT</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 8-hour shifts with no on-call or weekend requirements<br>• Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders<br>• Develop appropriate plans of care following regulatory and clinical practice standards<br>• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice for clinical interventions<br>• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions<br>• Administer procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, and modalities<br>• Use supportive and assistive devices as part of rehabilitation plans<br>• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly<br>• Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modify services as needed<br>• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and service providers<br>• Communicate effectively with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress<br>• Provide comprehensive discharge summaries per regulatory requirements<br>• Document all required information in electronic documentation system<br>• Accurately record treatment minutes for services provided<br>• Participate in required meetings including patient care conferences and utilization review meetings<br>• Attend facility and company required trainings, in-services, and conferences<br>• Obtain necessary DME or supplies per regulatory requirements<br>• Supervise and support occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students<br>• Adhere to NBCOT/AOTA and state required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics<br>• 1 year of OT experience required<br>• LTC or rehabilitation experience required<br>• Massachusetts OT license required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility specializes in rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, providing comprehensive occupational therapy programs for patients with cognitive and physical functioning disorders.
