CVOR RN Job in Long Beach, CA

St Mary Medical Center Long Beach is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiothoracic Vascular Operating Room (CVOR). This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 12, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts with every other weekend required
• Weekly pay: $3,215
• CVOR call required with a 30-minute response time; call is split and rotated among CVOR RNs
• First to float within the OR to other specialties as needed
• Work in Main OR when CVOR cases are not scheduled; General OR experience required

Clinical Environment

• Approximately 2 CVOR cases per week in a 1-suite environment
• Common case types: straight forward CABG, AVR, MVR, and Thoracotomy
• 2 circulators per case ratio
• Scrubbing is not required but preferred
• EMR systems: Cerner and Surginet

Requirements

• Current RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Holiday work required
