Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Friday through Sunday weekend shift schedule
• Generally scheduled for four 10-hour shifts
• Shift start times range between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM
• Perform musculoskeletal imaging, basic neuro, abdominal/pelvis imaging, radiation oncology, and breast imaging
• Work with pacer and anesthesia patients as well as ICU and NICU patients
• Average of 30 scans per day due to long protocols
• High volume of 10-14 inpatients per day and 4-8 outpatients per day on weekends
• Operate across 2 of 4 total scanners in the department, with possible mobile unit coverage
• Required to start IVs
• Use McKesson or Change Healthcare PACS and Meditech EMR systems
• Work with Siemens equipment; Philips scanner experience preferred
• Full-time supervisor on site; senior tech scheduled when lead tech is unavailable
• Radiologists in-house during daytime hours; majority of MRI readers are remote
• Must wear black scrubs with a black or gray jacket (no fleece) and black or gray undershirt
• 1-2 weeks of department-specific orientation provided
• Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks
• No on-call or standby requirement, though volunteering is an option
• Holiday shifts required if on rotation
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
• Siemens experience required; Philips experience preferred
• Travel experience preferred; Level II trauma experience is a strong plus
• Must adhere to strict 75-mile radius rule from address on driver's license to facility
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ARRT (MR)
