CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Competently perform routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures to produce quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers
• Experience with CTA, Calcium scores, and structural CTs is required
• Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
• Perform specialized skills including Coronary CTA, CT arthrography, calcium scoring, coronary angiography, pulmonary embolism CTA, and vascular CTA
• Prepare and/or administer contrast media and perform venipuncture and peripheral IV starts
• Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment and effective communication
• Adhere to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety
• May perform specific procedures and/or help orient other staff to the department
• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations
• Patient ratio of 2 during days and 1 on weekends
• Weekend shifts required as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R) or (CT), CA Radiation License, CA Fluoroscopy License
