Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Reno, NV

You'll work as an Interventional Technologist in the Interventional Radiology department at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada. This is a 10-week travel contract with a 4x10 day shift schedule (Monday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM), earning $3,066 weekly with 40 guaranteed hours per week.

Your responsibilities include:

• Produce optimal diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care to neonatal through geriatric populations
• Operate interventional imaging equipment and related machinery
• Serve as first assist to interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons, or interventional radiologists
• Set up sterile trays and maintain room sterility
• Handle circulating duties, manipulation of drains and lines, suturing, billing, and filming

Schedule details: You'll work variable days within the 4x10 framework. Call requirements include weekday call from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM (approximately one shift per week) and 48-hour weekend call (one full weekend every four weeks). You may be required to work major holidays and additional shifts during the contract period and float to other areas based on competency level.

Required qualifications:

• ARRT R.T. (R) certification or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
• State of Nevada Radiation Control Program License
• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience; cardiovascular, cardiac, or vascular interventional radiography experience preferred
