Special Procedures Technologist Job in Athens, GA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technician for a 90-day travel assignment at St. Mary's Hospital in Athens, Georgia. This role offers you the opportunity to work in a fast-paced interventional radiology department supporting physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (5x8 days)
• Assignment length: 90 days
• Start date: September 14, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,885
• On-call responsibilities: 9 to 10 days per month

Key Requirements:

• Credential: Allied Health Professional (Interventional Radiology Technician)
• Current BLS certification required
• Neurology experience required
• Availability during the week of December 29

What You'll Do:

You will assist interventional radiologists by preparing equipment, positioning patients, monitoring vital signs, and managing supplies during a variety of procedures. Your responsibilities will include maintaining sterile fields, documenting procedures, and ensuring patient safety throughout each intervention.
