Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour day shifts
• Handle 8-12 case caseload
• Weekend call required - 1 full weekend per month
• On-call responsibilities approximately 7-10 days per month
• STEMI Call team must respond within 30 minutes of activation with 2-hour call back guaranteed
• No floating between units
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Perform elective cardiac catheterizations (diagnostic and interventional), right heart catheterizations, STEMI procedures, IABP, and pacemaker procedures
• Must have strong cath lab experience and ability to work in interventional radiology
• Skills include angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, insertion/programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion, scrubbing to maintain sterile field, and temporary pacemaker procedures
• 3 years of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT + MD License, or RCIS with IR experience
• Neuro intervention experience preferred
• Hospital scrubs provided
• Charting systems: Cerner, McKesson
• Strict no-tobacco policy with nicotine drug screening
• Must complete non-billable modules averaging 4-6 hours during orientation and annually
• 2 supervisor references required
