<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - PCU</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM<br>• 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week<br>• Every other weekend and every other holiday required<br>• Float to all inpatient units as needed<br>• Can be low censused and put on call with 2-hour minimum call back pay<br>• Patient ratio typically 1:4 in a fast-paced, high patient turnover environment<br>• Care for 44-bed intermediate cardiac step-down unit patients including post-op CABG/valve, thoracotomy, vascular procedures, arrhythmia, CHF, post-procedure cardiac catheterization, pacemaker, defibrillator, ablations, acute chest pain/MI, and medical/surgical overflow<br>• Must have 1 year strong cardiac experience (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU) and 2 years IMC/PCU/telemetry experience<br>• Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro drips required<br>• At least one travel assignment must be completed<br>• 1 year recent EPIC charting experience required<br>• Must pass EKG test during first week of hire<br>• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS (AHA or ARC)<br>• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility<br>• Any color scrubs allowed<br>• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor&#39;s degree preferred<br>• Must demonstrate ability to work independently and complete tasks timely</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center providing specialized cardiac care services.
