About this role

Join St. Marks Hospital UT as a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment. You will work a rotating schedule with 3x12-hour shifts, starting between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM, with additional mid-shift and late-shift rotations available. Your guaranteed hours are 36 per week at $1,839.60 weekly.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage a daily caseload of 9–14 patients with neuro, multi-trauma, and medically complex diagnoses
  • Perform neuro re-education, gait training, balance training, wheelchair training, cognitive re-education, and vestibular training
  • Conduct thorough chart reviews and understand lab values and weight-bearing precautions
  • Operate mobility devices including Sara Stedys, mechanical Stryker chairs, powered bariatric chairs, ARJO and Liko lifts
  • Document all care using the EPIC system with evaluations seen or acknowledged within 24 hours of being ordered
  • Float to the acute rehab unit to support the OT team as needed
  • Complete a required 30-minute lunch break when working more than 6 hours

Required qualifications:

  • MSPT or DPT degree
  • Current Utah PT license
  • Successful completion of NPTE
  • BLS certification
  • Previous acute care experience recommended; ICU experience preferred

Scheduling and expectations:

Your rotating schedule will follow one of two patterns: Week 1 Sunday–Wednesday and Week 2 Sunday–Tuesday, or Week 1 Wednesday–Friday and Week 2 Wednesday–Saturday. You must be flexible, demonstrate strong documentation skills, and work effectively as a team player. Dress code includes gray scrub tops, black scrub pants, and closed-toe shoes.

This assignment runs 91 days with a start date of June 22, 2026.
