Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Travel RN position on a 5th Floor Medical/Telemetry unit
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Unit operates with 45 beds and 90 staff members
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 9-10 RNs, and 4-5 MSTs
• Patient ratios of 4-5 patients per nurse on nights
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Cardiac and ICU experience preferred
• NIH certification preferred
• Work with equipment including lifts, Dynamap, and cardiac monitoring equipment
• EMR system: Meditech; prior experience preferred
• Perform cardiac drips and cardiac catheter management
• Perform chest tube management, wound care, and TPN/lipids administration
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude toward staff and providers required
• Self-scheduling available as allowed
• Access to new lift equipment and iMobile technology
