Interventional Radiology Technologist

Opportunity:

IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology) - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Work 9-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call requirements apply (7-9 shifts in 6 weeks)
• Call response time of 30 minutes required
• Perform scrubbing, passing supplies, and set up and take down of procedure room
• Work in a department with 6 labs, pre-op, and phase 2 recovery
• Average of 20-30 cases per day
• Common patient diagnoses include vascular, neuro, drains, and lines
• Utilize EPIC EMR system and Philips monitors
• Charge RN on shift from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Scrubs provided
• Unit-specific orientation of 3-5 days in the lab
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS
• Active Illinois license required or confirmation that application process has been initiated
