Opportunity:

RN - Infusion

Job Details:

• Work 5x8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Daily patient caseload of 70 with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• No on-call requirements
• No floating within or to sister facilities required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS; ONC preferred; Chemo (ONS/ONCC)
• Charting system: Cerner experience required
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Required skills include: accessing and managing ports, administration of blood and blood products, administration of chemotherapy, central line blood draws, central line/implanted line care, continuous infusion of chemotherapy, infusion pump management, IV push administration of chemotherapy, management and disposal of cytotoxic spills, monitoring chemotherapy, PICC line care, recognizing and communicating abnormal lab values, and starting and maintaining IVs
• Preferred skills include: infusion center experience and inpatient and outpatient oncology experience
• Interdisciplinary support available from phlebotomy, radiology, and pharmacy
• WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission
