Medical Lab Technician

Opportunity:

Medical Technologist - Laboratory

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday on night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekends and holidays required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• No float required
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience
• Prior travel experience required
• Must hold Tennessee state license
• Must be a certified Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician
• AMT or ASCP certification acceptable at time of submission
• Generalist experience strongly preferred
• Patient care generalist experience required (microbiology not required)
• Equipment experience includes: Chemistry - Beckman DXC & DXI, Hematology - Sysmex XN 2000, Coagulation - Siemens CS 2500, Urinalysis - Beckman Iris, Clinitek Advantus, and manual microscopes
• Additional equipment includes: Sofia, kit testing, and body fluid counts
• EMR system: Cerner
• Dress code: Grey scrubs
• Schedule is not a block schedule and must be flexible to meet the scheduling needs of the unit
• Required certifications: ASCP Verification, BLS
