CT Technologist Job in Redwood City, CA

You'll work as a CT Technologist at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, California, supporting a busy radiology department that serves the emergency room, operating room, inpatient units, and outpatient clinics.

Role and Responsibilities

• Operate Siemens CT equipment, including 64-slice and 128-slice scanners
• Perform CT imaging for scheduled patients, inpatients, and emergency cases
• Document and chart patient information using the Cerner EMR system
• Work in an acute care setting supporting multiple departments
• Assist with fluoroscopy procedures and OR imaging as needed

Shift and Schedule

You'll work 5 days per week on 8-hour evening shifts. Shift times vary based on your CT experience and proficiency: 7:00 AM or 3:00 PM for CT-proficient technologists, or 10:00 AM or 11:00 AM for radiologic technologists new to CT. Weekend scheduling may apply depending on your proficiency level. Holiday coverage is provided through a call rotation.

Required Qualifications

• Current BLS certification
• ARRT (CT) certification
• ARRT (R) certification
• State of California Radiologic Technologist certification
• Fluoroscopy permit (strongly preferred)

Preferred Experience

• Fluoroscopy permit to perform OR and routine fluoroscopy work
• Operating room experience
• Venipuncture experience (a plus, not required)
• Advanced certifications (a plus, not required)

What We Provide

Sequoia Hospital will provide scrubs. Patients are scheduled at a rate of one per hour, allowing flexibility to accommodate inpatients and emergency cases throughout your shift.

Assignment Details

This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 12, 2026. You'll earn $3,139.20 per week as an allied health professional.
