Registered Nurse - CVOR @ Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital - Nursing

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Registered Nurse - CVOR</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 3x12 hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week<br>• Must have 2 years of direct CVOR experience and scrub experience required<br>• Cardiac call required - approximately 6 minimum per month (1 per weekday and 2 weekend shifts - weekends are 24 hour shifts)<br>• May work up to 10 call shifts if facility is short staffed<br>• Will float within scope to meet facility needs and work other cases if no CVOR cases available<br>• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)<br>• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required<br>• Scrub color: Ceil blue<br>• Charting system: EPIC<br>• Must participate in training students and new staff as this is a teaching facility<br>• EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum for each<br>• Time-sensitive modules required (6-15 hours, non-billable) completed pre-start and annually<br>• Must be able to work with specialized cardiac equipment and procedures including CABG, valve replacements, and endovascular repairs<br>• Free parking available in unrestricted spaces</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This 230-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital features an 18-bed cardiovascular operating room with a daily census of 55-60 patients. The facility maintains a smoke-free environment and utilizes EPIC charting systems.
