RN - ICU Adult

Job Details:

• Assess patient condition and plan and implement patient care plans
• Treat wounds and provide advanced life support
• Assist physicians in performing procedures
• Observe and record patient vital signs
• Ensure proper functioning of ventilators, monitors and other medical equipment
• Adjust ventilators and IABP equipment as needed
• Administer intravenous fluids and medications
• Perform suctioning procedures
• Collaborate with critical care team members
• Respond to life-saving situations using nursing standards and protocols
• Act as patient advocate
• Provide education and support to patient families
• Care for pre- and post-operative patients
• Must have ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Must have valid CA RN license
• Minimum years of clinical and travel experience required
• May float to other units as needed
• Must provide available interview times within 72 hours
