Job Details:

• Work 2x12 hour shifts Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• No call responsibilities
• Must work full-time 40 hours for the first 2 weeks during orientation before beginning solo weekend shifts
• May need to be flexible and work day and/or evening shifts during orientation period
• Two years of MRI experience required
• Must have GE or Siemens MRI scanner experience to be considered
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ARRT certification or similar organization certification preferred - must be willing to obtain after starting
• Must be familiar with all non-contrast exams, routine MSK, neuro, spine and occasional body MRI
• Operate MRI machine efficiently and make patients feel comfortable during procedures
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures
• Document all procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Perform patient care tasks as needed
• Maintain clean and safe scanning facility
• Must be able to stand for extended periods
• Knowledge of medical terminology required
