Opportunity:

RN - Pre Op

Job Details:

• Work day shift from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• Phase 2 recovery experience required - candidates without this skill will not be considered
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Some preop experience or ability to help preop staff preferred
• Work with equipment including Pyxis, GE MACVU EKG machine, Doppler, patient scale, and bladder scanner
• Electronic medical record system: Meditech
• Handle phase 2 recoveries for urology, gynecology and other same day surgery patients
• Assist with preop surgery, endoscopy, cath lab, EP, CT patients, outpatient infusions, outpatient EKGs, blocks, and blood transfusions
• 30 minute response time required from facility location for on-call coverage
• Unit has 9 preop beds and 5 phase 2 recovery beds
