Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work day shifts Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities required up to 50% of the time from end of shift to next morning with a 30-minute call response time
• On-call required up to 50% of weekends
• Work in a CVOR unit with 6 ORs (including 1 CVOR suite) and 1 hybrid room
• Handle 20-30 cases per day including 1-2 CV cases or up to 4 TAVR procedures
• Common cases include CABG, Aortic Valve, Mitral Valve, and TAVR procedures
• Scrubbing is required for this role
• Minimum 1 year of open heart experience required
• Charge nurse and specialty leads available as resources during shift; house supervisor on-site from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM only
• Scrubs provided by the hospital
• Scrub techs available on unit
• Charting performed in Cerner EMR
• Required certifications: BLS
• Acute care setting
