Description
<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Tele</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit settings - must be comfortable with all three specialties<br>• Experience in Medical/Surgical setting with cardiac monitoring required<br>• 3+ years PCU, Med/Surg, Telemetry experience required<br>• Must be able to work independently and hit the ground running<br>• Rural experience preferred for small unit/facility setting<br>• RN/Patient ratio: 5:1 depending on acuity, higher acuity PCU patients 3:1 or 4:1<br>• Patient population: Newborn to Geriatric, 50% Rehab and 50% Acute<br>• Drips seen on unit: Insulin, Heparin, and Diltiazem for PCU; MS/Tele typically blood products and antibiotics<br>• Perform one main head-to-toe assessment per shift, pain/Braden/falls assessments once per shift, hourly rounding, and pain medication assessments as needed<br>• Every other weekend and holidays required if needed<br>• No on-call responsibilities<br>• Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color<br>• Must have own vehicle for this assignment<br>• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)<br>• Basic dysrhythmia test required<br>• Skills checklists required for Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (current within 1 year)<br>• New Hampshire RN license or Compact required<br>• Previous travel experience highly preferred<br>• No non-billable orientation provided<br>• All requested time off must be noted at upload - maximum 5 days approved for 13-week assignment</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This rural healthcare facility operates as a small unit providing comprehensive medical services including Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care services.
