Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job in Rochester, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel position at URMC Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. This is an 89-day assignment beginning June 15, 2026.

Position Details

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM EST (procedures may extend to 4:30 PM)
• No on-call or weekend responsibilities
• Weekly pay: $3,088.80
• 8-hour shifts

Your Responsibilities

• Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies including SPECT, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT imaging
• Execute SPECT blood flow studies, cardiac amyloidosis studies, hybrid SPECT resting studies, and PET sarcoid or viability studies
• Acquire and process diagnostic images with precision and clinical expertise
• Conduct daily quality control and maintain radio pharmacy operations within NYSDOH guidelines
• Explain procedures to patients, ensure comfort, and maintain safety throughout all interactions
• Manage and document patient data in the eRecord CUPID system
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
• Collaborate with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and colleagues to implement new technologies and enhance lab protocols

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
• 6 months of Cardiac Imaging experience
• NYS Radiologic Technologist License
• NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification
• ARRT Certification with current CE credits
• BLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program
