Telemetry RN Job in Orangeburg, SC

MUSC Health Orangeburg is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Telemetry unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 19, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 3x12 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Role Details

• Patient ratio of 1:5–6
• Float within scope to meet facility needs between like units
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including diabetes, hypertension, CAD, seizures, CVA, TIA, and chronic renal disease
• Work with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Epic charting system

Qualifications

• 2 years of nursing experience required
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS; NIH preferred
• Telemetry competency required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $1,814.40
