Certified Surgical Technologist Job in Nashville, TN

You'll work as a Certified Surgical Technologist at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, a 56-bed operating room with 5 procedural rooms serving a Level 1 trauma center. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 27, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,496.60.

Schedule and Duties

• Work 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Days vary based on unit needs; block schedules are not available
• Call requirements for all travelers in cardiac surgery with fair distribution among staff
• Float between OR units but not between locations

Case Types and Procedures

You'll handle all case types including neuro, trauma, general, orthopedic, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, transplant, robotic, and hybrid room cases. You'll perform open heart, transplant, trauma, and neurosurgical procedures in an adult patient population only.

Required Qualifications

• NBSTSA certification, on file at time of submission
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience
• CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience required
• Ability to scrub and prior scrub experience
• Prior travel healthcare experience
• Willingness to participate in manager interview before offer
