Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Job in Indianapolis, IN

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel position at IU Health Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role offers the opportunity to work in a pediatric setting with neonates, infants, and children across multiple units.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3x12 hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday (every weekend)
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: May 18, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,358.72

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years PICU experience
• Children's hospital experience within the last 3 years
• Labor & Delivery experience as primary placement will be in L&D
• Current ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT, and NRP certifications required
• Indiana State License required
• PALS preferred
• Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA
• First time travelers accepted

Responsibilities:

• Float between NICU, PICU, and Pediatrics units as assigned by facility needs
• May float to IU Health North Hospital
• Perform aerosol therapy, ventilator management, and airway suctioning
• Manage BiPAP/CPAP therapy and tracheostomy care
• Interpret ABGs and assist with extubation procedures
• 100% floating required for all travelers
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
