ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Michigan nursing license required and must be in hand prior to start
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Staffing ratio of 1:3 on all shifts
• Treats adult patient population
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Medication system: Pyxis
• Communication standard: SBAR
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Scrubs: Navy and White
• Patient diagnoses include: DKA, COVID, acute alcohol withdrawal, NSTEMI, respiratory distress, and CHF exacerbation
• Skills required: arterial line management, care of ventilated patient, central line care/management, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, PICC line management, titration of cardiac drips, and titration of vasoactive drips
• Float to Monroe and within service line/scope of practice as needed
• No local travelers within 50 miles accepted
