<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 4 x 12-hour shifts with day shift hours from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM and evening hours from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM<br>• Majority of shifts are day shifts with up to two weeks of evening shifts possible during six-week schedule<br>• 6 call shifts required per 6-week schedule<br>• 1 weekend shift and/or 1 holiday shift required per 6-week schedule<br>• 2+ years of CVOR experience required<br>• BLS certification required<br>• ACLS certification preferred<br>• Level 1 Academic Medical Center experience preferred<br>• Transplant experience preferred<br>• DC license required at time of submission<br>• Work with all service lines and cases in cardiovascular operating room<br>• Operate in 21-room facility with daily census of 40 patients<br>• Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations<br>• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing<br>• Two supervisor references required<br>• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions<br>• Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at reduced rate</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This major academic medical center serves as a Level 1 trauma facility providing comprehensive cardiovascular and surgical services.
