NICU Registered Nurse Job in Atlanta, GA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting a Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Arthur M. Blank Hospital in Atlanta, GA. This is a 89-day contract beginning October 12, 2026, offering you the opportunity to provide specialized care to critically ill newborns in a Level IV surgical NICU setting.

Position Overview

You will work a weekend block schedule, including Saturday and Sunday shifts plus one additional weekday shift each week. Days shift allows you to maintain a consistent daily rhythm while supporting your patients and team. You must be available to work at least one holiday if it falls during your contract period, and you may be asked to float to other units as needed.

Clinical Focus

This NICU serves patients with complex diagnoses and post-operative needs, including:

• Congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH)
• Meconium aspiration syndrome (MAS)
• Necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC)
• Tracheoesophageal fistula/esophageal atresia (TEF/EA)
• Abdominal wall defects
• Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD)
• Pulmonary hypertension
• Pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care

Requirements

You must hold current RN licensure and have Level IV or surgical NICU experience. PALS certification is required; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred. The facility is nicotine-free.

Compensation and Details

You will earn $2,211.46 per week. This travel assignment allows you to gain experience in a high-acuity neonatal setting while maintaining schedule predictability with your weekend block arrangement.
