Job Details:

• Work under the supervision of the RN to support safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical care
• Assist with limited direct patient care as part of the surgical team
• Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures
• Maintain strong understanding of procedures and anticipate surgeon needs
• Set up, maintain, and protect sterile field throughout procedures
• Clean, prepare, and package instruments for disinfection and sterilization
• Assist with room turnover between cases, including cleaning and preparing environment
• Uphold patient safety standards and maintain required clinical competencies
• Adhere to AORN Recommended Practices and departmental policies
• Demonstrate responsibility in time management, resource use, and supply handling
• Participate as collaborative and supportive team member
• Perform other duties as assigned
