About this role
Prowers Medical Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a 91-day travel assignment in Lamar, Colorado. You will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, earning $2,102.40 per week.
Your Role:
You will work as part of a clinical team under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Your responsibilities will include implementing selected components of patient and client interventions, obtaining data related to interventions provided, and making modifications as directed by the supervising therapist. You will treat individuals of all ages—from newborns to elderly patients—with medical problems or health-related conditions in inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current credentials from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, Division of Professions and Occupations, State Physical Therapy Board
- Current BLS certification with verification card
- Minimum 2 years of experience with inpatient experience required
- Outpatient experience preferred

You will work in a state-of-the-art, newly built Rehabilitation Gymnasium environment equipped with modern facilities and equipment. This assignment offers you the opportunity to provide comprehensive patient care across multiple settings while collaborating with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
