Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job in Tacoma, WA

St Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with minimal call required. An alternative shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM is available if needed.

What You'll Do

• Perform stress tests, bone scans, thyroid studies, and GI procedures
• Conduct an average of 12 scans or studies per day
• Work with 3 scanners and rooms in the department
• Start IVs as needed for patient care
• Use EPIC charting, McKesson PACS, and CVPACS systems
• Operate GE and Phillips equipment
• Handle occasional weekend and holiday coverage when required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
• Current WA License
• BLS certification
• ARRT-N (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) or NMTCB
• NMTCB-NCT (Certified Nuclear Cardiology Technologist) preferred
• Professional colored scrubs (you provide your own)
• Cannot be a current or former employee of CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities within the past 12 months
