PT - Physical Therapist Inpatient

Job Details:

• Inpatient physical therapy position at a Level 3 Trauma Center
• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team
• EMR system: EPIC
• Billable hours: 36-40 hours per week with overtime billable after 40 hours, or 48 hours per week with overtime billable after 48 hours
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekend coverage may be requested as available with flex days off the weekday prior to a Saturday shift and the weekday following a Sunday shift; weekends can also be arranged around candidate time-off requests
• Traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day
• Limit of 1 day off request between 11/25–11/29 and 12/23–12/27
• Scrub color: Dark Grey/Charcoal
• Physical therapy experience required
• Mandatory Reporter certification required
• First-time travelers welcome
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates also accepted)
• Active Iowa Physical Therapy license required
• Skills checklist specific to the discipline required
• 1 Supervisory Reference Form completed within the last two years required
• Driver's license required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address
