ICU RN Job in Lander, Wyoming

You will deliver critical care to adult patients experiencing heart attacks, strokes, shock, severe trauma, respiratory distress, and other acute medical conditions. You'll assess patient conditions, develop and implement comprehensive care plans, and provide advanced life support interventions including wound treatment and emergency response.

Core Responsibilities

• Monitor and record patient vital signs continuously
• Manage ventilators, cardiac monitors, and other critical medical equipment
• Adjust ventilator settings and IABP devices as needed
• Administer intravenous fluids and medications per protocol
• Perform suctioning and other nursing interventions
• Assist physicians with medical procedures
• Care for pre- and post-operative patients
• Collaborate with the critical care team to provide comprehensive patient care
• Provide patient advocacy, education, and emotional support to families

Requirements

• Current Wyoming RN license or multi-state RN license
• Minimum 2 years recent ICU RN experience in a hospital setting
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS/ENPC certifications (American Heart Association certified)
• TNCC certification preferred but not required

You may occasionally care for pediatric and adolescent patients when needed, as the facility does not maintain a dedicated pediatrics unit. You may also float between the Lander and Riverton campuses based on facility census needs.

Assignment Details
3×12 day shifts, 91-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026. Weekly pay: $2,365.20.
