Med Surg RN Job in Pittsfield, MA

Berkshire Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a temporary Med Surg position. You will work a 3x12 afternoon shift schedule on an every-other-weekend basis, with holidays required as needed. This 91-day assignment begins June 22, 2026, and offers weekly pay of $2,462.40.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a typical patient ratio of 1:6
• Work on units ranging from 20 to 34 beds
• Float to any Med Surg unit as needed
• Complete an 8-hour non-billable orientation
• No on-call responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license
• 2 years of current Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Telemetry experience
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required at profile upload
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred

Position Requirements

• Own vehicle required for assignment
• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility
• Personal scrubs of any color required
• Block scheduling is not available
• Maximum 5 days of requested time off accepted; all scheduling requests must be submitted at time of assignment submission
