CVOR Registered Nurse Job in Atlanta, GA

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) unit. This is a 98-week travel assignment beginning June 15, 2026, on a 3x12 nights schedule. You will earn $2,540.16 weekly.

Role Overview

You will care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgery procedures. Your responsibilities include providing direct patient care, managing 1:1 patient ratios during day shifts, and assisting with procedures such as CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, IABP, and VAD placements. You may float within your scope of practice and to the main OR as needed.

Requirements

• Current Georgia or Compact state nursing license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• ACLS and BLS certification
• Epic charting system experience
• Clinical screening required to confirm clinical fit

Preferred Qualifications

• Community hospital experience
• Trauma Level I or II facility background

Schedule and Call

You will work a weekend rotation schedule (details discussed at interview). Call requirements include typically one weekday call weekly and one weekend call every 5–6 weeks. You must work major holidays that fall during your assignment period.

Onboarding

Full compliance is required to start on time. You must complete core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing. All compliance documents must be submitted by the Tuesday prior to your start date.
