Telemetry RN Job in Mason City, IA

Join MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center as a Registered Nurse on our Telemetry unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 13, 2026, offering you the opportunity to provide direct patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Position Details

• Work three 12-hour night shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every third weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Weekly pay: $2,213.64

Your Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for medical-surgical patients with telemetry monitoring capabilities
• Monitor cardiac rhythms continuously and respond promptly to telemetry alerts
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Assess patient conditions regularly and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Document all patient care activities and maintain accurate, timely medical records
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, discharge instructions, and post-care management

About You

You hold a current RN license and bring experience in medical-surgical nursing with proficiency in telemetry monitoring. You communicate effectively with patients and team members, prioritize patient safety, and adapt well to the night shift schedule. Your attention to detail in documentation and your ability to manage multiple patients simultaneously are essential to success in this role.
