ICU Registered Nurse Job in Gettysburg, PA

You will work as a Registered Nurse in a float pool position at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital, providing care across the ICU, medical/surgical units, and rehabilitation settings. This role requires flexibility and strong clinical skills to support patients with complex needs.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3x12 night shifts with every other weekend rotation
• Assignment duration: 91 days
• Start date: June 29, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,257.11

Minimum Requirements

• Current RN license with no license hits (hard stop policy)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC experience (heavily preferred and required)
• Must pass EKG exam within 72 hours of signing contract

Core Clinical Skills

You will manage dysrhythmias, arterial lines, central line care, and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips. You will also provide BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, suctioning, and implement isolation precautions as needed.

Pre-Assignment and Facility Policies

• Complete pre-start modules (5–6 hours, billable time)
• Manager interview required after clinical screening
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility policy
• May provide care for COVID patients
• Holiday and weekend coverage as needed
• Maximum 7-day requested time off preferred

Local candidates within a 50-mile radius of Gettysburg may be offered a different rate. You will work in a clinical environment that demands both technical expertise and adaptability across multiple patient populations.
