Mammography Technologist Job in Pittsfield, MA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment at Berkshire Medical Center (BMC) Medical Arts Complex in Pittsfield, MA. You will work a 5x8 day shift schedule and earn $3,110.40 per week.

Role Overview

You will perform technical procedures in both X-Ray and Mammography, applying independent judgment and ingenuity to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging. This role requires proficiency in both specialties and the ability to operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, and PACS applications while maintaining strict infection control and body substance isolation compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mammography and X-ray imaging procedures according to established protocols
• Demonstrate proper operation of PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems
• Maintain current skills checklists for both Mammography and X-Ray (within 1 year)
• Work posted schedule without accommodation requests, including weekends and evenings as assigned
• Provide holiday coverage as required
• Maintain compliance with infection control and body substance isolation standards

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of X-Ray experience with 1 year current experience
• 2 years of current Mammography experience
• ARRT (R), ARRT (M), and BLS (AHA) certifications
• Massachusetts Radiology license
• Current skills checklists for both Mammography and X-Ray (within 1 year)
• Own vehicle for transportation
• Must not reside within 50 miles of facility

Additional Information

This assignment includes 8 hours of non-billable orientation. No on-call responsibilities. Maximum 5 days of requested time off will be accepted during the 91-day contract. Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred. You must be able to work independently and demonstrate proficiency with imaging technology and computer systems essential to modern radiology operations.
