Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 36/48 hour alternating schedule
• Block scheduling type
• Weekend coverage required
• Patient ratios of 5 patients per nurse on days, nights, and weekends
• Care for patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• 2 years of experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Required skills include: accessing/managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, heparin management, insulin management, isolation precautions/PPE, managing cardiac drips (no titration), managing vasoactive drips (no titration), med/surg, telemetry, nasal cannula, oxygen administration, PCA, peripheral line care/management, phlebotomy, starting and maintaining IVs, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Must reside more than 110 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)
