ICU RN Job in Prescott Valley, AZ

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the ICU at Yavapai Regional Medical Center - East in Prescott Valley, Arizona. This is a 91-day travel assignment with 3x12 night shifts, paying $2,260.08 weekly. Your start date is May 4, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts, 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend requirement: Friday and Saturday
• Holiday rotation to distribute holidays fairly
• Standby rotation required during low census periods
• Cancellation policy allows 4 shifts per contract

Unit Details

You will work on a multi-care unit combining ICU, PCU, and MST on one 10-bed unit. Patient ratios depend on acuity: ICU 1:2, PCU 1:4, MST 1:5-6 (1:3 primary care if no nursing assistant). You may float to the Emergency Department, MST, Pediatric unit, and West Campus in Prescott for ICU/PCU assignments.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Titrate drips including sedation, vasopressors, and insulin
• Take 12-lead EKGs and monitor bedside cardiac monitors for ICU patients
• Care for patients with sepsis, suicide attempts, drug/alcohol withdrawal, COPD, respiratory arrest, pneumonia, DKA, and post-op complications

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years ICU experience, or 1 year ICU plus 1 year PCU/Med-Surg from larger facilities
• Must pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% score within two attempts prior to contract signing
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• BSN not required

Additional Information

You will use the Cerner charting system. Any scrub color is permitted except camouflage.
