OR RN Job in Espanola, NM

You will work as an OR RN at Presbyterian Espanola Hospital in Espanola, New Mexico. This is a 1.0 FTE position with 10-hour shifts beginning at 6:30 AM. You will be expected to work weekends and call as needed, with floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles.

In this role, you will utilize the nursing process to provide direct patient care to your assigned group of patients during each shift. You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individual patient needs and responses. You will coordinate patient care through collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team. You will administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or standard protocols, and you will assume responsibility for clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel.

You must be able to scrub and work in a fast-paced OR environment. You will complete patient population- and procedure-specific education and competency testing as required.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years current experience in a large OR
• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
• New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
• BLS certification through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross
• Successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment
• English proficiency (speak, read, write)

Preferred qualifications:

• PALS and ACLS certifications
• Epic experience (training available on-site)
• Ortho, EENT, and/or vascular experience

This assignment is 89 weeks, starting May 11, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,383.13.
