RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Late shifts required a few times per month
• STEMI call required - approximately one week of call over a 12-16 week period
• Call includes 24 hours on a Saturday and 24 hours on a Sunday
• Call shift hours include half nights from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM and full overnight shifts from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Must be prepared to arrive and be ready to work within 30 minutes of STEMI activation
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCIS
• Scrub required - scrubs are provided
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• Must be knowledgeable of orbital atherectomy, rotational atherectomy, IABP, IMPELLA, OTC, ECMO, flow wire, manifold, sheath pulling, and all other Cath Lab adjuncts
• Will only be asked to monitor cases if proficient with XPER and Epic's CUPID
• Proficiency with Philips monitoring equipment required
• Procedures range from diagnostic cath procedures to structural heart, cardiogenic shock, and ECMO
• Patient population includes adults with cardiac and vascular diseases
• Facility operates 9 rooms, 18 beds, and approximately 25 visits per day
• Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
