Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 day shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
• Must pass telemetry competency exam including identifying and measuring rhythm strips - failure results in contract termination
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• Care for patients with CHF, Alcohol Withdrawal, NSTEMI's, sepsis, dysrhythmias, PNA, COPD, and post-procedure patients including pacemakers, ablations, cath lab, and open heart surgery patients
• Administer non-titratable cardiac medication drips (Cardizem, Lasix, Nitro, etc)
• May float to Intensive Care Units, medical surgical units, and other facilities based on competency level
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up additional shifts
• Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts based on department needs
• Hospital has right to call off shifts with 48-hour notice for low census without penalty
• Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families
