CT Technologist Job in Smyrna, GA

You'll work as a CT Technologist at Vinings Health Park in Smyrna, Georgia. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a Monday through Friday schedule, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, offering $2,368 weekly.

Your Role

You'll perform CT scans and technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative. Your responsibilities include:

• Verify proper clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history from patients
• Administer contrast media following established departmental procedures
• Review CT and radiographic images to ensure clinically acceptable results
• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment
• Demonstrate competence in age-appropriate patient care and procedures
• Maintain proficiency with venipuncture and power injection operations
• Apply sterile technique and understand pre- and post-procedural care requirements
• Adjust scanning technique to minimize radiation dose while maintaining image quality
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain equipment according to infection control policies
• Transport and position patients; assist with on and off procedure table movements
• Complete all studies in RIS before finalizing in PACS

What You Need

You must hold current certifications in ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS. A minimum of one year experience in Radiology is required; less than one year of CT-specific experience is preferred.
