Endoscopy RN Job in Augusta, GA

Join Piedmont Augusta Hospital as a Registered Nurse in our Endoscopy department. This 98-day travel assignment offers a structured schedule that balances clinical variety with predictability.

Schedule & Hours

• 4x9 rotation: two 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM–5:00 PM) and two 8-hour shifts (6:30 AM–3:00 PM)
• 36-hour work week
• 1 weekday call per week and 1 weekend call per 6-week cycle
• 2–3 weekends required over the contract period
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off
• No floating between units

Clinical Environment

• Adult and geriatric patient population
• 1:2 patient ratio across 3 rooms, 11 beds, with average daily census of 20
• Primary procedures: ERCP (required experience), ERCP with Spy Glass, colonoscopy, esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), and ION procedure
• You will work pre/post procedure care, circulating, and tech roles
• Perform vital sign checks and blood glucose monitoring independently

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of endoscopy experience; first-time travelers accepted
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• ERCP experience mandatory
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Proficiency with Pyxis and Epic systems
• Navy blue scrubs

Holiday Expectations

If one major holiday falls within your assignment, you work it. If two fall within the period, you work both. If three or more fall within the period, you work two. Major holidays include New Year's Eve and Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, and Christmas Eve and Day.

Compensation & Duration
