Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Guaranteed 40 hours per work week
• Call requirements: 10 shifts per month with weekend call included
• Weekend call schedule: Every 3rd or 4th weekend
• On-call hours: 1-2 weeknight calls per week from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures for patients from pediatric through geriatric populations
• Follow physician instructions, prepare and operate equipment, and position patients correctly for diagnostic imaging
• May be required to scrub into procedures as needed
• Requires knowledge of sterile technique and supplies used during special exams
• Must demonstrate ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when patient condition doesn't permit routine positioning
• Required certifications: ARRT(R), BLS
• Current Indiana State Department of Health license in Radiology Technologist required
• 18 months of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local travelers accepted for this position
• Floating required to other units within hospital or affiliate hospitals nearby
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
• May be required to obtain advanced credentials in interventional radiology if applicable
