<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>PT - Outpatient</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work under general supervision of a physical therapist to assist patients in reaching maximum physical potential<br>• Treat patients using appropriate therapeutic interventions in accordance with Maryland Physical Therapy Practice Act<br>• Participate in team and interdisciplinary meetings<br>• Demonstrate competency in treating multiple patient populations within the acute care setting including at least 1 high risk patient population<br>• Follow treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and alert supervising physical therapist to status changes<br>• Manage average caseload per productivity standards set by facility<br>• Must be proficient in treating at least 2 High Risk patient populations<br>• Demonstrate proficiency in use of standardized tests to support documentation<br>• Prioritize and schedule patients utilizing time efficiently<br>• 1+ years of current Physical Therapy Assistant/PTA experience required<br>• Active Maryland license as a Physical Therapist Assistant required<br>• Acute care experience highly preferred<br>• Required certification: BLS (AHA)<br>• On call schedule and weekend schedule to be determined by facility<br>• Basic computer skills and proficiency in EMR navigation required<br>• Excellent customer service skills required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization provides comprehensive medical services with a focus on quality patient care and rehabilitation services.
