Schedule & Location
- Tuesday through Friday, 4x9 shifts (9 hours per shift)
- Based in Anniston, Alabama

Your Role
You'll be responsible for cleaning, inspecting, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment. Your work ensures that all devices meet strict safety and sterility standards before use in the operating room. You'll manage inventory, track instrument sets, and maintain detailed sterilization records in compliance with facility protocols.
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- CBSPD (Certified Biological Safety Professional Specialist) or equivalent
- IAHCSMM/HSPA certification
- Either CSSPD or HSPA credential
Credential
You'll hold an Allied Health Professional credential as a Sterile Processing Technician. Current certification in Sterile Processing, OR Tech, or Scrub Tech is required.
What You'll Need
Attention to detail is essential—instruments must be processed correctly every time. You'll work independently and as part of a surgical support team, following established protocols and manufacturer guidelines. Physical demands include standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, and working in a climate-controlled sterile environment.
