CT Technologist Job in Aventura, FL

You'll work as a CT Technologist on the night shift (Wednesday–Saturday, 8:00 PM–6:30 AM) at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a 4x10 schedule, paying $2,482 per week.

Your responsibilities include:

• Perform CT scans, MRI, body scanner, and X-ray imaging
• Create and compile diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissues for accurate clinical assessment
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and patients throughout the imaging process
• Manage patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient acuity and stability
• Operate GE equipment including MRI units, CT scanners, cameras, X-ray, and fluoroscopy systems
• Document findings and communicate results using the Meditech EMR system

Required qualifications:

• ARRT (CT) certification
• BLS certification
• Experience with GE equipment
• Strong communication and anatomical knowledge
• Mechanical aptitude and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment

Preferred qualifications:

• RT (T), ASRT, or FASRT certification
• Meditech EMR experience

On the night shift, you'll work with a charge RN and an on-call team alongside 3–4 additional techs depending on patient volume. Navy blue scrubs are required. You'll need to demonstrate strong communication skills, solid medical and anatomical knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic healthcare setting.
