Job Details:

• Perform technical radiographic assignments requiring complex skills, judgment, and knowledge of CT and Radiologic Technology principles
• Operate radiographic equipment, CT scanners, image processors, and other related equipment across different modalities
• Evaluate images for quality and demonstrate accuracy of positioning based on procedure guidelines
• Perform diagnostic radiographic studies including brain, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, spine, facial, and extremity imaging with and/or without IV contrast enhancement
• Operate portable diagnostic radiographic equipment as needed
• Provide care to patients across all age groups including infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Provide clear and concise instructions to patients during procedures to ensure comfort
• Maintain competency in two specific modalities
• Ensure proper radiation protection for self, patients, and other personnel through use of proper collimation, lead shielding, and techniques
• Demonstrate competency in RIS and PACS systems for entering and editing patient exams, charges, and relevant data
• Perform required quality control activities following NYSDOH Part 16 guidelines
• Perform Infection Control according to Universal Precautions
• Demonstrate flexibility in assuming emergency call on weekdays, weekends, and holidays in addition to routine hours
• Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience required with solid Rad Tech/X-Ray experience
• OR C-Arm experience and Siemens experience required
• Required certifications and licenses: ARRT, NYS License, BLS
